I was born in 1976. From what I have heard, some of the music was quite good back then, although I didn't have anything to do with it.

My interests are mathematics, physics (mostly astronomy and particle physics), developing/programming, system design, algorithms. As you may have gathered, that makes IBM one of my favorite companies.

Music? Yes! Like most people, I can listen to many different types of music; but I like "Vangelis" most, and classical (Bach, Greig, and all the other great masters). But I also like Total Eclipse and other "blipp'n'blopp"-music. I listen to a lot of film music: The Rock, StarTrek:First Contact, 1492 - Conquest of paradise, The Godfather, etc..

TV? Yes! Babylon5, StarTrek, Ally McBeal (one of her extreme traits (the 'Ally'-character) is one of my extreme traits.. I almost had a serious identity crisis when someone said "Ally describes femininity very well". Ugh.. What a blow..). One of my absolute favorites is "La Piovra", an Italian maffia-series (Wonderful music). I watch Friends, Spin City, Frasier. I like American sitcoms. Can't stand that Urkle show, though..

Outdoors? Yes! I love it, but I don't enjoy sports. I really like autumn, just before the first snow falls, when it's as dark as it'll get, when I can lay down and stare at the beautiful stars..

Religion? No thanks.. Instead of teaching kids that there's a almighty man 'up there' who really isn't treating people bad while tormenting them more than they are worth, we should teach kids 'global perspective'. Make kids understand that to get answers we have to research; first form the questions, then do what we can find the answers, then question the answers and don't take any result for the absolute truth, there must always be room for questions.

So what makes me different from your average 'next person'? Nothing, really. Everyone has their oddities, one of mine is that I can remember the instant that I realized that I am a person and that there are other people. One could say it was when my mind switched from chaos / instinct to order.

My heroes in life are Calvin & Hobbes, Daffy Duck (and all the other WB figures for that matter), Tintin, Spirou.. I like cartoons, especially the really wacky ones.
Oh, by the way.. I can't stand the Swedish translated WB-cartoons. WB-cartoons shouldn't be translated. Period.

I'm into computing. I like programming, ray tracing, and some games (XCOM, Fallout, Ultima 8, Ultima Underworld 2).
